New joint from our homies at Vagabond Music Group. Here is what their camp had to say at press time:

Coming right back after releasing the music video for "Time Has Come" off his "Leonidas" project, Baysiqly is back with a brand new track titled "In The Making". Produced by K Da Great, "In The Making" finds Baysiqly looking back on his on-going rise to the top of the music industry, from the struggles and low points at the beginning of his career to the continued buzz as one half of the Vagabonds.

Although this is a left-over from "Leonidas" and not currently projected to appear on any upcoming projects, "In The Making" is just the first of many new tracks you'll be hearing from the Vagabonds, both as a group and as soloists for the final months of 2012. Be on the look out for E.R.'s upcoming debut solo album, "Year of the Vagabond", scheduled to drop in late 2012.

West Coast MC's Rx and Stricc make up the duo Old Soulz. 'Foriegn' is the first single off Old Soulz upcoming mixtape; 'Speaking of Legends' volume 1 hosted by Freeway Ricky Ross. The track was released a couple weeks ago and now Old Soulz present the official Music video directed by GARCIA for Crazy Hood Film Academy.

RICK ROSS - HOLD ME BACK (NIGERIA)

There is some controversy over this alternative version of Rick Ross's new hood anthem 'Hold Me Back'. Turns out some Nigerians are not happy about how their country is being depicted in the video. I can understand that but the truth is these are real scenes filmed in the country therefor it is what it is. It is my opinion that it is not up to Ross to shape a perception of an entire nation. That would be the job of that nations government and people. The camera sees what the camera sees and although it is true that the power of editing can shape images to tell the story the editor wants to tell, I still feel Ross as an artist should not be held responsible for shaping peoples views one way or the other about an entire nation. Then again maybe even the perception of negative press can bring about the much needed attention that nations such as Nigeria need to further help in their development out of 3rd world status. I think the video created by Dre Films and Spiff TV was well made and very entertaining. Shout to Ross and the MMG camp.
