Are we really that hypnotized by Lady Ga Ga, Kanye's VMA stage crash, Beyonce's ass, and Ellen taking over Paula's spot on American Idol, that we forget that we are still engaged in two wars and god knows how many covert operations all over the world! I am sure that many of you out there are hurting from this "economic" crisis we are in. If your not, then your one of the lucky few but the rest of the world is hurting and hurting bad. In all of this we seem to forget about some of the outrageous things that have happened in the past 5 years. One of those things being the loss of billions of dollars in Iraq. I don't mean the money its costing us to manage the war, I am talking about billions of dollars in cash (100 bills to be exact) literally shipped to Iraq and mysteriously lost. The word the gov. likes to use is mismanaged. Fuck you and your "mismanaged" cuz if the everyday joe shmo gets caught up by the IRS we can't tell

them "oop's we mismanaged, sorry" ... can we! My problem with all of this is that I first saw this story several years back when it came out. The news did some pieces on it and there were some committees being aired on tv interviewing government officials about it. Ok? That came and went and here we are in 2009 and still no word on what happen with that money. Seriously think what billions (Official reports vary on the amount) of dollars can do. Not only could our economy use it right now but think of just the homeless shelters

and food that could of bought for just the homeless issue in our country. How can the government expect its citizen to act responsible when they themselves are not. I am not even trying to get into who got their hands on that money. All i know is I could just imagine how many people came up. So next time your struggling to pay your bills think about the billions of dollars that were shipped overseas and just lost, straight David Copperfield LOST! Don't just take my word for it, do the research. Here is one of the articles CNN did on the story in 2005:
An inspector general's report said the U.S.-led administration that ran Iraq until June 2004 is unable to account for the funds.
"Severe inefficiencies and poor management" by the Coalition Provisional Authority has ...
