Miami veteran GARCIA has come together with The DJBooth, Latchkey Recordings and Crazy Hood Productions to bring listeners his latest street release, the Off the Beaten Path EP. The artist’s fifth solo release, the project features nine original records from the rhymesayer who was first introduced to our readers on “Undercover” way back in October of '08. Joining GARCIA on the guest tip throughout Off the Beaten Path are Omniscient, AG Lyonz, Bernz and Wrekonize (of ¡MAYDAY! ), N.O.R.E. and REKS. Beats come courtesy of Big Drain, Miami Beat Wave, Dee Jay K-N-S, Hazardis Soundz and Davincci. Executive produced by DJ EFN with art direction by Skam2?.

Wednesday January 25th come hang out with Crazy Hood Productions as they celebrate the release of GARCIA's "Off The Beaten Path" EP with performances by Garcia, J. Nics and more. Music for the night will be provided by Dee Jay K-N-S. Doors officially open at 10pm but if you make it before then you will not be charged at the door. The project which was originally suppose to come out Jan. 24th will now be released Jan. 26th via djbooth.net.

GARCIA delivers his third visual off the upcoming 'Off The Beaten Path' (#OTBP) EP. The EP is set to be released on January 24th 2012 and promises to be another Miami Hip Hop classic! The Crazy Hood veteran promised to deliver visuals for every song on the EP and so far he has made good on his promise. Not only is GARCIA handling the rhymes on these records but he is directing and editing the videos for most of them as well. With GARCIA and DJ EFN heading up the newly formed Crazy Hood Film Academy you can expect non-stop visuals from the Crazy Hood family!

This the first video from GARCIA's upcoming EP entitled 'Off The Beaten Path'. The track is produced by Miami Beat Wave and features guest vocals by Omnisicent and AG Lyonz. The video was directed and edited by GARCIA (Crazy Hood Film Academy). The director of photography and lighting was Jacob Rivera. This is the first of many videos from 'OTBP' which is due out Jan 24th 2012.

DJ EFN - DIGGIN' IN THE TAPES [DELUXE EDITION] (MIXTAPE)

At the top of the year DJ EFN celebrated 15 years of mixtapes by releasing "Diggin' In The Tapes" via djbooth. The compilation album was a collection of classic DJ EFN mixtape freestyles and unreleased original material from DJ EFN's mixtape catalog going back into the mid 90's. Crazy Hood Productions decided to re-release DITT with an additional 10 bonus tracks exclusively on CHP's bandcamp site. The bonus tracks include freestyles and tracks by Redman, Termanology, N.O.R.E., Wrekonize (of ¡Mayday!) and more. Enjoy!

GARCIA comes back in front of the camera as well as behind the camera in a short music video version of "Russian Roulette" off his 'Rage Against The Scene' project. In this video GARCIA reenacts a scene off the classic Vietnam war drama 'The Deer Hunter'. GARCIA is no stranger to directing or video production so expect a lot more visual productions from the veteran Miami rhyme slayer!
