Lyrical genius Ras Kass is back with a brand new single called “Sushi” (Definition Of Raw Spitter), produced by Illinformed. The song displays Rassy’s witty wordplay with lines such as “Live by the California code/ Crips in the whips / somebody call it a California roll” – vintage production, vintage Ras Kass.

A Miami mixtape mainstay (and first-time featuree) well-versed in gangster cinema, DJ EFN and the suddenly ubiquitous Ras Kass draw inspiration from the Godfather trilogy’s Michael Corleone on this newly-leaked cut, a Booth-exclusive world premiere. Over the fittingly cinematic, string-laced boardwork of Nick Fury HD, the West Coast veteran does his best Mafia don impression, showing off his Italian vocab (plus a little French and Spanish) and his pop-reference game (that’s the first Chris Farley name-drop I’ve heard in a minute) as he details the trials and tribulations of life on the throne. Like what you’re hearing? The time has come and Ras Kass much talked about A.D.I.D.A.S. project has finally arrived. The homie Ras Kass and DJ Rhettmatic have put together a solid album chalk full of special guests. What makes this release that much more special to myself (and ya'll Miami Hip Hop watchers) is its featuring of production from our very own Hazardis Soundz on the "In My Lane" track and vocal feature by Wrekonize (of ¡Mayday!) on "Dexter". These "Mad Joints" post have become my excuse post for explaining why I don't post as often as I would like to. If your a new visitor to the site you may not know that Crazy Hood Productions is involved in managing several artist and producers. We manage Garcia, ¡Mayday!, DJ EFN, Heckler and producers Big Drain and Hazardis Soundz. We also work closely with Capone-n-Noreaga as well as running a full service marketing and promotions company. RAS KASS - GOLDYN CHYLD 2 (VIDEO)

Today we are releasing the second single from ADIDAS, “Goldyn Chyld II” Ras Kass ft. DJ Rhettmatic. The song was produced by Leaf and the video was put together by J Media and GuerillaPress.net. The Goldyn Chyld 2 single is on sale at Ras’ bandcamp page for one dollar, and the download includes the hidden bonus track “Save the Ras Kass.”

'Field Studies' is a series of videos from Clement & Co. documenting upcoming and in-progress projects from established artists. In the first installment, underground hip-hop veterans Ras Kass and DJ Rhettmatic discuss their upcoming collaborative album, ADIDAS (All Day I Dream About Spittin'), the use of Kickstarter to fund the production of physical copies of the album as well as Ras Kass' career in general.
