THE CURE FOR CANCER HAS BEEN FOUND?

 >> Whos Crazy Posted 5/17/2011 by crazyhood.

Could it be true!?! Could Cancer finally be conquered by human beings??? Could many of us find out about this incredible victory from Outkast's Big Boi. Well it seems that way. If this is true and we have truly beaten Cancer or at least one form of it, then this is something the world should be rejoicing about! I wonder if anyone stands to gain from this news being surpressed!?! Below is the official story from the link tweeted by Big Boi. Shouts to Big Boi for putting us on to this. We can all only hope this is somewhat true or that we are on the road to beating this destructive disease!

Canadian researchers find a simple cure for cancer, but major pharmaceutical companies are not interested.

Researchers at the University of Alberta, in Edmonton, Canada have cured cancer last week, yet there is a little ripple in the news or in TV. It is a simple technique using very basic drug. The method employs dichloroacetate, which is currently used to treat metabolic disorders. So, there is no concern of side effects or about their long term effects.

This drug doesn’t require a patent, so anyone can employ it widely and cheaply compared to the costly cancer drugs produced by major pharmaceutical companies.

Canadian scientists tested this dichloroacetate (DCA) on human’s cells; it killed lung, breast and brain cancer cells and left the healthy cells alone. It was tested on Rats inflicted with severe tumours; their cells shrank when they were fed with water supplemented with DCA. The drug is widely available and the technique is easy to use, why the major drug companies are not involved? Or the Media interested in this find?

In human bodies there is a natural cancer fighting human cell, the mitochondria, but they need to be triggered to be effective. Scientists used to think that these mitochondria cells were damaged and thus ineffective against cancer. So they used to focus on glycolysis, which is less effective in curing cancer and more wasteful. The drug manufacturers focused on this glycolysis method to fight cancer. This DCA on the other hand doesn’t rely on glycolysis instead on mitochondria; it triggers the mitochondria which in turn fights the cancer cells.

THE FUTURE IS NOW: MIAMI-DADE POLICE BUY MILITARY DRONE PLANES

 >> Whos Crazy Posted 12/27/2010 by crazyhood.

Couldn't help but using a ¡Mayday! song title (The Future Is Now) for this posts headline. It wasn't so long ago that Sci-fi movies set in the future had robot drone planes policing its citizens and trust me it wasn't a good thing in the movie. I can see the argument in favor of using these things over our skies to assist law enforcement but so is the story of the mark of the beast. By no means am I trying to pull this into a biblical or conspiracy argument but there is something very wrong about using technology used to reek havoc in warfare over cities and suburbs. There are to many ways this technology can be abused. If you look at history and all the reasons we were made to fear communism, totalitarianism, and dictatorships is because of the thought of your every move being watched! Are we still home of the brave land of the FREE? Make your own judgment. In the mean time check out this article by the Miami New Times on this Drone purchase by Miami-Dade and then go and check out this older post I did about the use of these unmanned Drones entitled "The Terminator".

SUNNY DAYS ARE AHEAD... OR NOT!

 >> Whos Crazy Posted 6/10/2010 by Who's Crazy?.

Heat isn't the only problem or perk (depending on your taste) that our sun is good for. Seems the science world is in a buzz; as well as the conspiracy world, with talk of 2012/13 dooms day scenario which forcasts a solar storm which is sure to reek havoc on our planet! Don't be alarmed, just be informed! Here's what ABC News had say about it:

The sun is getting ready to ramp up its activity, and when it does we could be in for some real trouble, scientists say. The sun's activity, which follows 11-year cycles, will experience its next peak in 2013.

A
solar storm of the strongest variety could cause 20 times more economic damage than Hurricane Katrina , said a 2008 National Academy of Sciences report on space weather.

Though the odds of a such a storm are relatively small, such an occurrence could create severe weather in the sun's outer atmosphere, knocking out much of the country's power grid, incapacitating navigational systems and jeopardizing spacecraft, scientists say.

More than a million people could go without power, the distribution of drinkable water could be disrupted and transportation, communication and banking systems could be upset, the report said.

To prepare for the activity, scientists from NASA, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, the National Science Foundation and other agencies met earlier this week for discussions at a forum in Washington, D.C. CONTINUE READING....
